Substituting
If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher or instructional assistant please submit an online application. Click on “Employment”, then “Online Application”, and finally “Start an application for employment” (second bullet point). After your application has been submitted and reviewed you will be notified via email regarding substituting.
You must complete and submit the following to be considered for substituting:
Teachers:
- Online application
- Transcripts
- Mandatory Child Abuse (instructions will be given at orientation)
- Iowa
- Iowa License:
- Teacher License
- Substitute License
- Substitute Authorization
(Must have one of the above)
Instructional Assistant:
- Online application
- Must be a high school graduate
