ACT Workshop for Sophomores and Juniors
The Sioux City Community School District is sponsoring an ACT preparation workshop for interested sophomores and juniors on Thursday, February 16 from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. in the Elwood Olsen Student Center on the Morningside Campus. Chad Cargill, of Cargill Consulting, Inc., will be leading the seminar, which involves invaluable test taking tips and study strategies. Each participant will also receive an ACT prep workbook. The initial three-hour seminar will be followed up by four optional small study group opportunities.
The cost of the workshop, including the workbook and optional study sessions is $50. Fee reductions are available. Due to limited seating and the need to have enough prep workbooks for all participants, registration and payment must be made in advance by contacting Mrs. Netley at North High School at 239-7000. Deadline for registration is Friday, February 10. Checks should be made out to North High School. If mailing a check, please call to register first and then send the check.
