Preschool Programs Available
The Sioux City Community School District is a proud member of the Sioux City Preschool Initiative, which provides increased access to quality preschool programming for four-year-olds. We have partnered with area preschool providers, to accomplish this task.
What does the Sioux City Preschool Initiative Provide:
- Certified teacher in every classroom
- Low student to teacher ratio of 1:10
- A set curriculum
- State verification that our program follows state standards
- Regular Assessment and conferences to monitor your child's progress
Qualifying children must be Iowa residents and four years old by September 15 of that school year. Example: preschool students for the 2011-2012 school year must be four-years-old by September 15, 2011.
